What are we looking for?

We are now looking for an Associate to join our Capital Markets and Financial Regulatory practice. We hope to meet both recent law graduates as well as lawyers with some experience within this field of work.

Our team advises both bidders and target companies in demanding public M&A transactions, including board advisory matters and defense strategies, and act for other market participants in connection with various complex capital market transactions. Our team also advises clients in corporate governance, disclosure, and insider matters and provides regulatory advice to securities and financial institutions, as well as investment funds in their financial regulatory and compliance matters.

Your tasks in the above assignments will be defined based on your seniority and experience. In general, your role will involve e.g. assisting in the management of transactions, conducting legal analysis and research, drafting a broad range of transaction documents, as well as inter-facing clients and other members of the deal working group. You will work in close collaboration with other members of our transaction and project teams and generally contribute to the development of our firm.

Our ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Law and experience from similar work, e.g. in a law firm. Fluency in both Finnish and English is a prerequisite as our work has a strong international angle.
