Our clients include e.g. investment funds, property developers, industrial players and public entities. The team offers a seamless service throughout the entire real estate life cycle by taking care of assignments such as real estate transactions, wide variety of construction matters and development projects, funding of real estate transactions and projects and real estate tax matters. Bird & Bird has wide international footprint in real estate work and strong presence at the Nordic region, providing the group with the opportunity to work also on interesting cross-border assignments. The core Real Estate team in Finland currently consists of four professionals and is led by Partner Jaakko Hietala.

What are we looking for?

Bird & Bird is looking for an Associate lawyer with approximately 1–2 years of post-graduation experience in real estate law matters within a business law firm or a comparable environment. In your work, you will advise on a broad range of real estate projects including e.g. real estate transactions, real estate development projects and construction matters. Our ideal candidate has a desire to grow as a professional in various fields of real estate law, a drive to take responsibility and to nurture client relationships with an outgoing attitude. Continuous personal development is a priority when working at Bird & Bird.

In addition, you are a great fit for the team if you have:

• an interest in working with challenging tasks in a team-based environment;
• the gift of ”seeing the big picture” and the drive to take responsibility for furthering projects;
• a desire to provide clear, business-minded and practical advice to Bird & Bird’s clients;
• fluency in Finnish and English; and
