We are looking for a business-oriented

Data Protection Lawyer

with drive and a genuine heart to help our customers succeed in various types of legal matters.

As Data Protection Lawyer, you will be independently and proactively giving business-centric legal advice to our customers and dealing with diverse data protection and tech regulation related questions. You might be helping our customers improve their data protection processes, draft data protection related documentation, give training, assist in authority proceedings, or help our customers with data protection and cybersecurity compliance when they develop new services and products. You will spar and work together with other data protection lawyers who have extensive experience in finding business-oriented solutions to data protection issues.

At Fondia, you will get a chance to make use of your expertise in a pragmatic way and to develop your skills and knowledge even further by supporting a wide range of companies engaged in different fields of business. Fondia´s Legal Department concept is exceptional, and we aim to develop our offering further with new possibilities supported by technology. As a Data Protection Lawyer, you will have the possibility to lead customer teams and/or be a team member in those according to your experience and preference. You will also have a chance to develop your skills in marketing, sales, and competence development since at Fondia, they are part of every lawyer’s work.

We expect you to have work experience in data protection related matters, ideally in a law firm or in a similar organization. We also appreciate and welcome in-house experience and understanding of technology, as we want to offer practical solutions to our customers.

We hope that you are a proactive and self-motivated person, who is capable and interested in handling many assignments simultaneously and independently, supported by your colleagues. You will enjoy working at Fondia if you are solution-oriented and a true team player, who is keen to constantly aim for smarter solutions. Our working environment requires excellent skills in Finnish and English, Swedish is an advantage.
