NIB’s Legal, headed by the General Counsel, handles all legal aspects of NIB’s lending and treasury activities, provides legal advice on institutional and administrative questions and supports the Bank’s management and governing bodies in legal matters.
We are now looking for an Associate Counsel to join our Administrative Legal Affairs Unit. The position is full-time for a fixed term of two (2) years and is located at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.
The Administrative Legal Affairs Unit advices on the procurement of goods and services for NIB’s own account, drafts and negotiates all of the Bank’s sourcing and other administrative agreements and contributes to the development of NIB’s own legal framework.
As part of our Unit, you join a team of three lawyers who work closely with NIB’s procurement function and business and support functions across the Bank. Your main responsibilities will include:
