Roschier is seeking Associate Lawyers to join its Intellectual Property practice in Helsinki in 2026.
Roschier is a leading law firm in the Nordic region with offices in Helsinki and Stockholm. We specialize in business law and cover a broad range of practice areas. The firm is well known for its excellent track record of advising on demanding international business law assignments and large-scale transactions. In total, Roschier currently employs some 500 staff members. Our path of constant improvement has taken us to the leading position we hold as a firm, and our Intellectual Property practices have been an instrumental part of Roschier’s success.
Our Intellectual Property practice, which is among the largest and most experienced ones in the Nordic region, is growing and we are now looking to hire both junior and more senior lawyers (with up to six years of post-qualification experience) to join us in Helsinki.
Working as an Associate Lawyer within the Intellectual Property practice at Roschier
As a part of the Intellectual Property practice, you would have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of assignments involving all legal and business aspects of intellectual property throughout its lifecycle. We work with both IP related disputes as well as commercial and transactional IP work. We regularly work with regional, global, and emerging technology leaders in a variety of sectors such as telecom, media and entertainment, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, MedTech, HealthTech, sustainable technologies, automotive, industrial and process technologies, and energy. Often our client projects take us to work with assignments entirely outside of our home markets. This means that our team works daily with matters involving:
As part of our team you would also have the opportunity to contribute to work that we do as part of our Digitalization & TMT practice.
If you are curious about learning more about the team and their daily work, listen to this episode of our podcast ”A Cup Of” where we meet with one representative from the team.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for you who are close to graduation, or have up to six years of experience, and who are eager to contribute to the team’s continued success. You may have worked within either commercial IP, patent and copyright litigation, GDPR and regulatory matters and/or public procurement. Prior IP experience is not essential if you have solid expertise from working with transactions and have a genuine interest in developing within intellectual property.
Working at Roschier means collaborating with leading corporations on complex assignments. We seek colleagues with unique skills and perspectives who share our commitment to excellence in client service. As an associate, you will enjoy teamwork across borders, share challenges and accomplishments, and ensure service quality. You will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally by working on assignments that allow you to develop your expertise. Furthermore, you have excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in both Finnish and English.
We invest in you
To ensure your professional development, we offer an extensive learning program through Roschier University, tailored to support you at every step and equip you with the professional skills you need to excel in your role as an associate and in your career. You will be assigned a tutor whose role is to support you in learning and navigating your new role, getting to know the team, and welcoming you into Roschier’s culture of teamwork, collaboration, and inclusion.
