Trainee Program

Step into the world of a first-class global law firm and experience firsthand what it is like to work with real-world cases. At DLA Piper, you will have the chance to tackle a variety of intriguing legal projects across multiple practice groups. As a Legal Trainee, you will work closely with our lawyers in areas such as Corporate, Litigation, Real Estate, Finance, IPT, Employment and Tax. Your Experience & Qualifications

• Ideally, you are a 4th or 5th year law student
• You are excited to learn across different practice groups
• You have excellent social skills and full fluency in Finnish and English language
• You are service minded
• You are willing to commit yourself to a full-time, four-month fixed-term traineeship
• You share our vision and values and would love to work with us in an international atmosphere

Our Offering

We offer you a truly international environment during your four-month trainee period. With an assigned personal tutor as your support, you will have great colleagues and a warm-hearted work society. Your duties are e.g. legal research, translations and drafting various documents, and contacting authorities. All trainees are welcome to join our professional training events and other events organized by DLA Piper Helsinki.

By the end of your Trainee Program, you will have an understanding of where your talents and interests lie. The experience gained – and the networks you nurtured when working at DLA Piper – will provide you with a strong foundation for your future career.
