We are currently seeking a soon-to-graduate Legal Trainee to join our team!

 

Job Description

As a Legal Trainee, your role involves assisting Korkia’s legal team and renewable energy team with legal assignments in renewable energy project development, investment services, and corporate administration. The complexity of your duties will depend on your competence. Initial tasks might include:

> Assisting in the administration of Joint Venture companies (including registrations and documentation)

> Assisting in transactions processes of renewable energy project development companies, Know Your Customer and Due Diligence processes

> Preparing minutes for board meetings and participating as a secretary

> Assisting in drafting and reviewing required documents for transactions

> Assisting the Group’s legal team in various legal assignments

In addition to the tasks described above, working at Korkia requires a desire to become a specialist in the ever-changing regulatory field, as well as thriving in fast-paced transaction business. > A Bachelor of Laws degree

> Precision, thoroughness, and initiative

> Interest or experience in investment activities, energy law, and/or technology sector

> A desire to delve into the heart of matters and readiness to analyse extensive entities

> Fluent work in Finnish and English. Other language skills, especially Spanish, are considered a plus

The position is part-time, 20-40 hours per week, but can be flexibly arranged. We hope you can start as soon as possible, but no later than after the summer holidays.
