We are looking for Legal trainees to join our Legal & Compliance team based in Helsinki.

As Legal trainee, you will support the global Legal & Compliance team in a broad range of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the function in an international and evolving legal, compliance and ethical environment.

Your role: 

• Supporting the Legal & Compliance team in administrative tasks such as legal documentation handling and databases management and development
• Supporting the Legal & Compliance team in various projects such as M&A
• Reviewing and drafting routine commercial contracts and other corporate documentation, such as
• NDAs, POAs and board/general meeting minutes
• Supporting with the implementation of Outokumpu’s Ethics and Compliance Program, including conducting of third-party screenings and creation of documentation and training materials
• Conducting research and fact finding

About you: 

• Bachelor of Laws
• Fluent in Finnish and English, in both verbal and written form
• Working knowledge Swedish, German, or Spanish, as well as prior international exposure, are an advantage
• Prior trainee experience from a law firm or legal team of a company
• Ability to work under pressure with limited time, flexibility, ability to take initiative and responsibility, helpful attitude, trustworthiness, and reliability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
