We are currently looking for Office Support Trainees for the trainee periods starting in spring 2021 and summer 2021. This position would suit someone who is in the first or second year of their studies, wishes to see how a Nordic law firm functions on a daily basis, and is eager to put their skills into practice.
Job Description and Responsibilities
You will be working part time (spring) or full time (summer) taking care of practical matters involved with the daily “running” of the office, e.g. post-room, delivering mail and shipments, ordering office products, copying, filling stocks as well as catering. Additionally, you will be taking care of our reception and switchboard. In practice, this means telephone communication, welcoming guests, organising meetings, and taking care of travel arrangements. The duration of the employment and your working hours will be agreed on separately.
As this is a trainee position, we do not expect you to know everything, but to ensure that you will be able to succeed in your duties, we do require:
- good problem solving and judgement skills
- attention to detail
- ability to take initiative
- good interpersonal skills
- fluency in Finnish and English (Swedish and other languages would be considered a bonus)
Most of all, we value positive attitude and willingness to learn.
What Is in It for You?
At Hannes Snellman, we cherish a sense of community and we will do our best to make you feel part of the team from day one. Before diving into your duties, you will participate in a comprehensive orientation. Our trainees also have the chance to get together in a more informal setting when we organise traditional trainee evenings or other fun events. As we are determined to maximise your learning experience as a trainee, you will have the opportunity to attend our Hannes Academy lectures and mentoring breakfasts on a variety of topics. We also offer you good benefits (lunch and recreation benefit and a ticket for public transport) and a competitive salary.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, please submit your application, CV, matriculation examination diploma, and an up-to-date transcript of your studies by 2 December 2020 at the latest. Please note that we will be interviewing candidates on a rolling basis throughout the application period, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Remember to write your application and CV in English.
Should you have any questions regarding the post or the application process, please contact Sara Saukkonen either by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (+358 9 2288 4445).
