Would you like to have the chance to apply your legal knowledge into practice in an area that interests you the most? With us at Krogerus, you have that chance as we are now looking for creative, resourceful and curious law students to join our associate trainee programme for summer 2020. The full-time traineeship runs for four months in our Helsinki office starting mid-May 2020.
What can you expect during your traineeship?
We welcome you to deepen your learning curve by working in a team of outstanding professionals and seeing how theory taught in law school is applied in action. You'll get valuable insight on the practice group most interesting to you by assisting our lawyers in various client assignments. Your tasks include for example gathering information, drafting and reviewing documents as well as conducting legal research.
We offer you tools to develop your skills through tutoring and trainings at Krogerus Academy. We start the trainee programme with an orientation week, and during the programme you receive systematic coaching and feedback to support your professional growth. The associate trainee programme is a four-month ride to experience the bustle of one of the largest law firms in Finland and a chance to grow your network, not forgetting to have fun with your peers at social events and activities. Our culture supports mutual achievement in an easy-going teamwork environment. It is essential to us that everyone feels respected and is valued as individuals. Our trainees are an important part of our ambitious and quality-focused team.
What do we expect from you?

- A self-starter mindset with a healthy dose of ambition, motivation and courage to develop as a professional.
- We value preciseness, resilience, solid analytical skills and an ability to communicate clearly.
- You are preferably close to graduation or have completed at least three years of legal studies.
