We are looking for a passionate and business-oriented

ESG Lawyer 

to support our customers in various types of legal matters related to sustainability, responsible business, and related projects.

In this role you will work with:

• issues related to ESG regulation, such as sustainability reporting, due diligence, regulation issues relating to import and export processes and production
• assisting customers in their sustainability work
• assisting customers with the adoption and application of extensive and evolving regulation in the field of sustainability
• assisting customers with the coordination and application of sustainability regulation as part of their business operations and risk management

You also have the possibility to focus only on a specific area of ESG regulation according to your interest. Fondia’s ESG team consists of wide range of lawyers, whose competence covers all aspects of sustainability and new regulation.

Fondia´s Legal Department concept is exceptional, and we aim to develop our offering further with all the new possibilities supported by technology. As an ESG Lawyer you will have a possibility to lead customer teams and/or be a team member in those according to your experience and preference. You will also have a chance to develop your skills in marketing, sales and competence development since at Fondia they are part of every lawyer’s work.

We expect you to have a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate working experience in business law. In addition, we hope you to have at least 3-4 years of experience from working with sustainability matters.

We hope you are a target-oriented and proactive person, who is capable and interested in handling many assignments simultaneously and independently, supported by your colleagues. You will enjoy working at Fondia if you are solution-oriented and a true team player, who is keen to constantly aim for smarter solutions. Our working environment requires excellent skills in Finnish and English, Swedish is an advantage.
