What you’ll do

As an IT Support you will provide hands-on support to our employees. You will be based in our Helsinki office and work together with our IT Manager while collaborating with other IT colleagues across the Nordics, London, and other international offices. In Helsinki we also have a wider business services team to collaborate with. You will work approximately 3 days per week at the office as agreed mutually. We are keen to hear your thoughts on the working time. This part-time role fits very well for a student or a seasoned professional, who wishes flexibility.

In this role, you will be taking responsibility for providing daily support both end users working at the office and remotely on all IT devices such as laptops, mobile devices, scanning, printing and all related technologies, conference room technics and software. The role includes troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware, software and third-party tools and setting up onboarding package for new employees. It is integral to coordinate and/or perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with user issues is a key. In addition, you get to be part of implementing firm-wide ICT-related initiatives in our Helsinki office.

About you

  • service-oriented communication skills and you are confident with dealing with all levels of employees and situations;
  • excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to explain solutions in a simple way to end users;
  • ability to help employees solve hardware and software problems across Microsoft and Apple products;
  • prior experience in Microsoft365 and PC management;
  • ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies;
  • proactive way of working – you don’t wait for problems to appear, but try to solve them before they arise;
  • fluency in both Finnish and English is essential (due to the international working environment).

This role is permanent and part-time with approximately 3 working days per week.
