What you’ll do

As a Junior Trainee at Bird & Bird, you will have the opportunity to gain treasured practical work experience alongside your studies, with a front row seat to the everyday life at one of the leading international business law firms in Finland. You’ll get hands-on experience in different areas of business law, an opportunity to develop your skills through diverse and varied assignments and time to explore everything an attorney’s office has to offer.

If you are in your first or second year of law studies, you might be the newest addition to our team. You can easily combine your work and studies by working part-time approximately 2-3 days a week.

As our Junior Trainee, you will assist our business services staff, lawyers and Trainees, together with your Junior Trainee colleagues, ensuring our office runs smoothly. Your main duties include diverse office work and day-to-day routines, for example running errands, printing and scanning documents, setting up conference rooms, handling post and taking care of event arrangements. Furthermore, you will get to assist in monitoring and sharing topical legal information to our lawyers and cover for the reception.

In this round, you can apply for traineeships starting in September 2024 (16.9.2024-31.8.2025) and January 2025 (2.1.2025 -31.12.2025).
