We are looking for a senior lawyer to join our Technology, Data & IP practice group in Helsinki. Our ideal candidate has at least four years’ experience handling assignments related to technology law, data or intellectual property. In addition to strong drafting skills, you will have specific expertise in at least one of these areas and a keen willingness to expand your knowledge further.

Our growing team of fourteen lawyers specializing in technology, data and IP takes pride in being easily approachable and providing practical advice. We support clients in their most complex matters within these areas, ranging from commercial and advisory work to disputes and proceedings with authorities. We regularly advice on AI, data regulation, and related IP and privacy matters for some of the most sophisticated clients in the market.

What sets us apart is our strong focus on artificial intelligence and other emerging areas of technology law. We are at the forefront of advising clients on the legal implications of rapid technological change, particularly in relation to new regulations, data utilization and cutting-edge IP issues.

What are we looking for?

• At least four years’ experience in at least one of the following areas: data protection and/or cybersecurity; data and AI law; IPRs (in particular industrial property rights)
• Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, especially in technology/IP-related matters
• A growth-oriented and commercial mindset, with a drive for continuous self-development
• Ability to build strong client relationships at appropriate levels. A genuine interest in understanding our clients’ business and creating value by offering straightforward solutions to their needs is essential
• A curious mind, ambition for excellence and solid analytical skills
• Eagerness to act proactively as part of a team and to effectively coach colleagues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish
