Junior Legal Counsel 

to join Neste’s Legal team in Espoo, Finland.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future

Your role is to proactively provide legal advice to global supply and trading activities within Neste with the support of your legal colleagues. This includes eg. supporting traders and contracts teams in drafting and commenting individual deals and reviewing counterparty GTCs and developing related processes and guidelines. You will cooperate closely with business and other internal stakeholders.

You will report to the Vice President, Legal Delivery team and also belong to Neste’s global Legal team. We have a good work atmosphere and appreciate every individual. We work where we are most productive and offer the opportunity to work either onsite or remotely. In order to promote cooperation and a sense of belonging, we also meet regularly face-to-face.

The best combination to success in this role

• Master’s degree in law
• Relevant work experience from legal work (experience during studies is also counted in)
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, including an excellent command of English
• High integrity combined with a business-minded approach to legal matters and a genuine desire to proactively collaborate with stakeholders
• Humble, yet can-do attitude, excellent problem-solving skills and a result-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement in a constantly developing commercial environment
• Desire and ability to be a supportive colleague for your team
