We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join and complement the Corporate Legal Affairs team at the Wärtsilä Headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. Corporate Legal Affairs manages and coordinates a variety of legal matters within the Wärtsilä group, including those in relation to M&A, IPR, competition law, data protection, cyber security, HR, indirect sourcing, insider administration, group policies and administration. In this, we work with and support other group functions and the Wärtsilä businesses. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel of Wärtsilä Corporation.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel, your work will include supporting Wärtsilä Indirect Sourcing (in particular ICT Sourcing), compliance with data protection/privacy matters and new regulations in relation to data, cyber security and sustainability, and various other legal assignments. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of an experienced Corporate Legal Affairs team with diverse expertise.
