Our Legal team is looking for a Legal Trainee to be based in Leppävaara, Espoo.

Why HMD?
This traineeship will give you an excellent opportunity to develop your professional skills, work in multinational environment and learn how an in-house legal team works in practice. You will be working together with two other legal trainees and with legal team members located all around the world.

Your key responsibilities?
You will be part of the team reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and other simple agreements. You will have opportunity to familiarize yourself with matters related to IP, including patents, design patents, trademarks, and anti-counterfeits. Together with the team you’ll take care of the contract management including signing process and archiving. You’ll have opportunity to assist lawyers with various other legal matters as well.

Would you be our perfect match?
We are looking for 2nd-5th year law student who can speak and write both English and Finnish fluently. In this global working environment, all additional language knowledge is an advantage! You should be a team player with positive attitude and eagerness to learn. You will be working in a multi-tasking environment where tolerating pressure and prioritizing tasks will be important skills. You don’t need to be tech-savvy but if you are interested about tech, it will surely help.

Duration: From September 1, 2024 until August 31, 2025. Full-time during the summer (June-August), otherwise half-time.
