Borenius currently employs over 200 people and is one of the largest and most experienced law firms in Finland. We provide high quality services in all areas of law for our corporate clients. We have offices in Helsinki, Tampere, London, and New York.

Could this be your team?

Our Tax team is a tight-knit and ambitious team that works on a variety of challenging and demanding tax assignments in a constantly evolving field. We focus on delivering high-quality, integrated tax advice. Our team assists our clients in their most important tax disputes in addition to providing services related to M&A, structuring, direct and indirect tax planning, transfer pricing, and any other tax challenges they might be facing. Our transactional tax, tax advisory, and tax litigation services cover all areas of domestic and international taxation. Our indirect tax team focuses on VAT, customs, and excise duty matters. Our capabilities are highly appreciated by our clients, and we are known for providing the highest quality of work.

What do you need to succeed?

– A master’s degree in law and relevant qualifications to practice law in Finland
– One to two years of work experience in taxation
– A willingness to strive for outstanding performance and dedication to serve our most demanding clients with excellence
– An analytical and goal-oriented way of working with a business-oriented mindset
– Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
– Proficiency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
